# DBSIZE

> Count the number of keys in the database.

## Arguments

This command has no arguments

## Response

<ResponseField type="integer" required>
  The number of keys in the database
</ResponseField>

  ```ts Example theme={"system"}
  const keys = await redis.dbsize();
  console.log(keys) // 20
  ```
